What is Microsoft Loop

Microsoft Loop is an adaptive workspace and co-creation software. Users can build flexible canvases using portable, real-time components that sync continuously across web, mobile, and Microsoft 365 apps.

What is the purpose of Microsoft Loop

The purpose of Microsoft Loop is to centralize dynamic project documentation, ideas, and workflows into a single source of truth. Loop components sync instantly across Teams chats, Outlook emails, Word documents, and Whiteboard canvases without requiring manual updates.

How to use Microsoft Loop

The tool can be used for co-authoring project roadmaps, tracking task completion with live status indicators, and gathering group consensus using embedded voting tables and decision trackers.

  • Application collects information that could identify the user specifically (email address, class schedule, etc..)

EULA

  • Application's Terms of Conditions or End User License Agreement poses a risk of binding the institution to an agreement thereby requiring legal counsel to review the application. However, this is mitigated as it has undergone legal review during the Technology Risk Assessment process.
